The firm’s initial venture, CasaNovo Affordable Housing Fund I, L.P., seeks to develop over 15,000 affordable housing units in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica over the next six years

Established in March 2010, CasaNovo Partners benefits from the cumulated property development experience, organizational infrastructure and regional operating capabilities of principals Carlos J. Rodriguez and Stephen Blumenthal. They have previously operated other successful real estate investment funds through partnerships with several major institutional investors and each has more than twenty years’ successful experience in real estate development including a wide rage of residential, hotel, office, and infrastructure projects. CasaNovo Affordable Housing Fund I, L.P.,  intends to utilize financing from the U.S. Government's Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and partnerships with leading housing developers in the respective countries to meet the housing needs of Latin America’s rising middle class.
